Creole Style Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, crumbled
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    salt and pepper
    1 can peeled tomatoes, chopped slightly (drain juices and save to use as needed)
    2 cans cut green beans (drain juices and save to use as needed)
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Remove from skillet.
    Add onion and green pepper to all drippings; cook until tender.
    Blend in flour, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Add tomatoes; cook until thickened.
    Add beans.
    Top with bacon.
    Heat at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
