Cream Of Peanut Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. finely chopped onions
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1/4 c. flour
4 (13 3/4 oz.) cans chicken broth
1 c. creamy peanut butter (don't use old fashioned style or freshly ground)
1 c. half and half
chopped chives (for garnish)
Preparation

Melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and celery. Saute until soft. Add flour and stir 2 minutes.
Mix in broth.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer until thickened.
(Stir occasionally.)
Mix in peanut butter and cream.
Transfer to blender and puree in small batches until smooth.
Heat to desired temperature and garnish with chives.
