Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pork sausage, bulk or cut-up link
    2 1/2 c. herbed croutons
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    6 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 small can sliced mushrooms
    3 c. milk, divided
    1 can condensed mushroom soup
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Brown and drain sausage; reserve.
    In 9 x 12-inch pan, place croutons; top with Cheddar cheese.
    Layer sausage evenly on top. Blend eggs, onion, peppers, mushrooms and 2 1/2 cups milk.
    Pour over sausage and refrigerate overnight.
