Ingredients

3/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. salt
5 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/4 c. cold water
6 large ripe tomatoes, peeled and quartered
1 green pepper, sliced in rings
1 medium onion, sliced in rings
1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
Preparation

Mix first
7 ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer for
1
minute.
Pour
hot mixture over tomatoes, green pepper and onion.
Cover
and place in refrigerator to chill. Before serving,
add
cucumber.
Serve
very cold on lettuce. Serves 8 to 10.
