Sweet Tater Pone - cooking recipe

3 c. grated raw sweet potatoes
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. pecans
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish. In a mixing bowl, combine sweet potatoes, nutmeg, sugar and 1/2 cup pecans.
Add the milk and egg. Pour into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with remaining pecans. Dot with butter. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 60 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
