Alabama Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. mashed hot sweet potatoes
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. brandy
2 Tbsp. salted butter

Preparation

Mix ingredients in order given.
Turn into a plate lined with pastry.
Bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to moderate; bake for 25 to 35 minutes longer, or until pie is set.
