Celery And Pecan Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. diced celery
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 stick butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
1/2 pt. cream
Preparation

Cook celery in water with sugar until tender; drain.
Mix with pecans.
Make cream sauce by melted butter, blend in flour and stir in cream until thick.
Add salt, pepper and beaten egg.
Add celery and nuts.
Pour in buttered dish and top with crushed Ritz crackers.
Bake until brown on top, about 30 minutes, at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
