Midnight Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. hot water
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening; add sugar and eggs.
Mix cocoa with water, then add flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and vanilla. Pour into greased and floured cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 to 45 minutes.
