Fabulous Swordfish Kabobs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 bay leaves
    1 1/2 lb. swordfish kabobs
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. snipped parsley
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. water
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. thyme
    3 scallions, cut into 3-inch pieces
    1 large red pepper
    few dashes hot pepper sauce (bottled)
    1 pkg. rice pilaf mix
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Soak bay leaves in water for 1 hour.
    Place fish in large plastic bag inside bowl.
