Honey Almond Granola - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. oatmeal, uncooked
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    1 c. slivered almonds
    1/4 c. honey
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oats in an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Combine oats, sugar, wheat germ, coconut and almonds.
    Stir until well mixed.
    Add oil, honey and vanilla to dry mixture and stir well.
    Now, bake in pan, stirring every few minutes, until golden brown, about 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool in pan. Serve as a cereal, topping for pudding or ice cream.
    Store in a tightly covered container in refrigerator.
