Sweet And Simple Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, finely chopped
    2 c. onion, cut in rings
    2 c. green pepper, cut in rings
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. cooking oil
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Layer onion rings and green pepper rings over cabbage in large bowl.
    Combine other 7 ingredients and heat to boiling.
    Stir occasionally.
    Pour over cabbage, onion and pepper.
    Refrigerate, tightly covered, at least 4 hours.
    Toss lightly.
