Smothered Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium pork chops
    1/2 c. rice
    1 medium onion, thickly sliced
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 can consomme
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Brown pork
    chops
    in a small amount of oil in skillet; drain. Cover
    bottom
    of 2 1/2 quart casserole with rice.
    Top with pork chops.
    Place
    1
    slice of onion on each pork chop. Add remaining ingredients.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
