Peas And Mushrooms In Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. fresh green peas or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped shallots
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Drop peas into boiling water and let simmer about 5 minutes or until tender; drain.
    Cut mushrooms into quarters.
    Heat butter in a saucepan and add shallots.
    Cook briefly, stirring.
    Add mushrooms and cook, stirring about 5 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Add cream and cook, stirring about 1 minute.
    Add peas; stir to blend.
    Serve immediately.
