Yum Yum Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. crushed pineapple and syrup
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 pkg. lime or orange jello
    2 c. cold water
    2 c. mild grated cheese
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    3/4 c. pecans
Preparation
    Bring pineapple and syrup and sugar to a boil.
    Add jello; stir until dissolved.
    Add cold water; let partially set.
    Fold in grated mild cheese and Cool Whip.
    Fold in pecans and mold.
