Sausage-Apple Stacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped apples
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    1 lb. sausage roll or bulk sausage
Preparation
    Combine apples, onion and crumbs.
    Make 8 sausage patties. Top 4 patties with stuffing, then a sausage patty.
    Bake in a shallow pan in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 45 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
