Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 onions
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 chopped bell pepper
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. uncooked rice
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Dice and cook onions in oil.
    Add bell pepper.
    Cook until tender.
    Add ground beef; cook until beef is completely separated. Stir in tomatoes, uncooked rice, chili powder, salt and pepper. Pour in covered casserole dish.
    Cover and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Remove cover the last 15 minutes.
