Chicken Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 chicken breast halves
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 large carrot, sliced in half
1 stick celery, sliced in half
1/2 small onion
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. frozen peas
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. reserved chicken broth
1/4 c. cream (optional)
1 unbaked 9-inch double crust pie shell
Preparation

Place chicken, broth, carrot, celery, onion, thyme and salt in a large pot.
Bring to boil, then reduce to low heat.
Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Remove chicken from pan to cool.
Remove skin and bones.
Cut into small pieces.
Set aside.
