Chinese Chews - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick oleo
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. or 8 oz. pkg. chopped dates
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Line an 11 x 7-inch pan with foil.
Cream oleo and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour, then vanilla.
Fold in nuts and dates.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Cool completely before cutting.
