Pineapple Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    9 oz. crushed pineapple
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar and egg.
    Stir in pineapple; add flour gradually and stir in nutmeg.
    After mixing well, add nuts.
    Chill 1 hour or overnight.
    Keep covered in refrigerator.
    Drop by spoonfuls and bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    You can keep these for 2 or 3 days and bake as you want.
    This is a good cookie that isn't so sweet.
