Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. meal
1 1/2 c. self-rising or plain flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
sweet milk (1 c. or more)
1 tsp. sugar

Preparation

Mix all together and let set for a little while before frying in deep fat.
