Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced apples
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter or margarine (not the ultra light kind)
    whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Place the apples in a buttered 10 x 6 x2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon, salt and water.
    Mix together the flour, sugar and butter and drop mixture over apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
