Cranberry Nut Bread(Makes 1 Loaf) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped
1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. shortening (margarine or butter)
3/4 c. orange juice
1 egg, well beaten
Preparation

Prepare cranberries, nuts and orange peel.
Mix together.
In another bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda.
Cut in shortening.
Stir in orange juice and egg to moisten. Fold in the cranberry mixture.
Spoon into greased and floured pan. Bake 60 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool on rack for 15 minutes.
Remove from pan to cool.
