Southwestern Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. (2 1/2 lb.) small red potatoes, quartered
    1/3 c. water
    2 oz. each: jalapeno, Jack and sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/2 c. Ranch dressing
    1/3 c. sliced green onions
    6 slices crisply cooked bacon, crumbled
Preparation
    Microwave potatoes and water in covered micro-safe bowl on High for 14 to 16 minutes.
    Stir after 8 minutes.
    When done, drain potatoes and set aside.
    Microwave cheeses and dressing in separate bowl on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
    Stir into potatoes.
    Add onions and bacon bits, mixing lightly.
    Serve warm or refrigerated.
