Green Chile Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chile (1-inch long slices)
    2 lb. cubed roast pork
    2 large onions
    2 (#303) cans stewed tomatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. water
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Flour pork and brown in drippings.
    Remove to pot; cook onions.
    Add chile to meat and onions in pot.
    Add remaining ingredients and stew until mixture is slightly thickened.
    Freezes well.
    Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
