Italian Meat Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 lb. Italian sausage
    3/4 c. oats
    1/2 c. tomato sauce
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and well drained
    2 cans (16 oz. each) baby tomatoes, drained and sliced
    12 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced or grated
Preparation
    Combine meats, oats, tomato sauce, egg, spices and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
    Pack mixture onto bottom and halfway up sides of an ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0. Drain off excess fat.
    Top meat mixture with spinach.
    Arrange tomato slices over spinach.
    Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.
    Top with Mozzarella cheese.
    Bake 15 minutes longer at 350\u00b0 until cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
    Serves 8.
    This dish freezes well for advance preparation.
