Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    a pinch of salt
Preparation
    To the beaten eggs, add the other ingredients (not the pecans).
    Place the pecans (whole or pieces; makes no difference) in the bottom of the unbaked pie shell.
    Pour on the other ingredients.
    Bake 40 minutes at 325\u00b0 or longer, depending on your oven.
    The top should be nicely browned (don't overcook).
