Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 3/4 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Combine flour, soda, salt and baking powder.
Cream Crisco; add sugar and continue to cream.
Add eggs and beat.
Add flour, soda, salt and baking powder and beat alternately with buttermilk. Add melted chocolate, then vanilla.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
