Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 7 apples, thinly sliced
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
    1/3 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Blend all ingredients except apples and melted butter with fork.
    Arrange sliced apples in 8 x 8-inch lightly greased square pan.
    Spread mixture over apples.
    Extra cinnamon and sugar may be sprinkled over mixture.
    Pour melted butter over mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Serve warm, great with vanilla ice cream.
