Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
1/3 c. melted butter
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Preparation

Combine sweet potatoes with all ingredients except pie shell, blending well with electric mixer (or hand mix using a wooden spoon).
Pour into pie shell.
Bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven about 30 minutes, or until golden and puffy.
Serve alone or topped with whipped cream.
