Wild Rice En Consomme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw wild rice
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    3/4 c. sauteed, sliced mushrooms
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. consomme
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Wash rice under running water, then drain.
    Melt butter in 3-quart saucepan or skillet.
    Add onion, mushrooms and salt.
    Cook until onion is tender; remove from heat.
    Combine all ingredients in large casserole, stirring to mix well.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until rice is done, stirring occasionally, while cooking.
