Chocolate Caramel Layer Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and butter.
    Press half of cake mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over this layer.
    Pour caramel over chocolate chips.
    Crumble remaining cake mix on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
