Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs (1 at a time)
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour (plain)
2-1/2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
4 oz. grated milk chocolate
1/2 c. chopped pecans
12 oz. chocolate chips (milk chocolate or semisweet)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Add flour, oatmeal, salt, baking soda and baking powder slowly to mixture.
May need to use a heavy mixer or a wooden spoon.
Add grated milk chocolate, pecans and chocolate chips.
Roll into small balls and place onto cookie sheet.
Bake 375 degrees for 6 minutes.
DO NOT OVER COOK OR THEY WILL BE HARD. BAKE ONLY 6 MINUTES AND THEY WILL BE VERY MOIST AND CHEWY.
THEY WILL NOT LOOK DONE WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OUT.
Makes 55 to 150 cookies, depending on size.
