Beefy Mexicali Rice With Cheese(Makes 2 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. water
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. Lipton rice and sauce (Spanish)
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, undrained
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (about 2 oz.)
Preparation
    In large skillet, bring water to boil.
    Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese, breaking the meat into small pieces. Salt and pepper to taste.
    Reduce heat and simmer 12 minutes. Stir occasionally.
    (Rice should be tender and most of liquid absorbed.)
    Top with cheese.
    Cover and let stand 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    Serve.
