Sausage Breakfast Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. raisins
1 lb. pork sausage
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. cold strong coffee
1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Simmer raisins in a little water for 4 to 5 minutes.
Drain well and set aside.
Mix uncooked sausage and sugars until well blended.
Add eggs.
Mix well.
Sift together flour, spices and baking powder.
Stir soda into coffee.
Add flour mixture and coffee alternately to meat mixture, beating well after each addition.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Mix well.
Pour into a greased and floured 9-inch tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Keeps indefinitely in refrigerator.
Good served warm or cold.
