Sweet Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 pt. tomatoes
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    8 slices bread
Preparation
    Scald tomatoes and remove skins.
    Quarter and cook until soft and well separated (20 minutes at least).
    Add sugar, salt and bread, broken up in pieces.
    Then cook for another 10 minutes, stirring often.
    Have tomatoes simmering on medium heat.
    Do not burn!
    They are ready for jars at this point.
