Steak San Marco - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chuck steak, cut into serving pieces
    1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
    1 (1 lb.) can whole peeled tomatoes
    1 tsp. oregano
    garlic powder or salt to taste
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 Tbsp. vinegar (white or wine)
Preparation
    In a large skillet, arrange meat.
    Cover with soup mix and tomatoes.
    Sprinkle with oregano, garlic, pepper, oil and vinegar. Cover and simmer about 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
    Can also be done in oven at 350\u00b0 until done, about the same time.
