Steak San Marco - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1-inch thick chuck or chuck steak
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Cut steak in serving pieces and place in skillet; cover with onion soup mix and tomatoes.
    Sprinkle with spices, oil and vinegar.
    Simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours.
    Serve over rice.
