Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pretzels
    3/4 c. melted butter
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    8 oz. cream cheese
    9 oz. whipped topping
    1 c. sugar
    1 large pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix pretzels, melted butter and sugar.
    Spread in pan and bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Beat until smooth cream cheese and sugar, then add whipped topping.
    Spread over cooled crust.
    Chill.
    Mix gelatin and boiling water.
    Add strawberries.
    Spread over cream cheese mixture.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    I put a layer of Cool Whip on top and sprinkle finely chopped pecans on it.
