    2 c. all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 eggs, beaten (reserve 1 Tbsp. egg white for brushing on top)
1/3 c. heavy cream (evaporated milk)
2 tsp. sugar (for sprinkling on top)
Preparation
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, the 2 tablespoons sugar and salt.
With a fork, cut in the butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Stir in eggs and cream to make a stiff dough.
Turn out onto a lightly floured board and knead lightly until dough sticks together.

Cut each circle into quarter wedges.
Arrange on baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
Brush tops with reserved egg white and sprinkle with the 2 teaspoons sugar.
Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
