Chaffee Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. Mazola oil
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 sq. Baker's chocolate
    1/2 c. hot water
    1 tsp. baking soda
    8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate bits
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 275\u00b0.
    Melt bakers chocolate in the water. Combine sugar, Mazola and egg.
    Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
    Combine liquid, dry and chocolate mixtures.
    Bake for 1 hour.
    In a double boiler, melt chocolate bits and butter.
    Spread over cake.
