Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    3/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 to 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Unwrap caramels and melt on low heat with margarine and evaporated milk.
    While those are melting, make cake mix as directed on box.
    Pour 1/2 of cake mixture into a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.
    Bake for 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven, pour melted caramel mixture over, then sprinkle on chocolate chips.
    Pour remaining cake batter on top; spread to cover.
    Bake for another 20 minutes.
