Zucchini Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3 lb. zucchini squash, sliced
    1 or 2 large onions, sliced
    1/4 c. salt
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. cider vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Slice squash and onions.
    Cover with cold water and salt.
    Let stand for 2 hours; drain.
