Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
1 egg, beaten
1 c. molasses
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt. Mix sugar, butter or margarine, egg and molasses.
Mix dry ingredients with molasses mixture.
Add 1 cup boiling water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 20 minutes in a 12 x 15-inch pan.
