Cape Cod Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. melted lard
    1 Tbsp. molasses
    1/4 c. milk
    1 3/4 c. oatmeal
    1 c. seeded raisins or nut meats, cut fine, or 1/2 c. each
Preparation
    Set oven at 350\u00b0.
    Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
    Stir in the rest of ingredients.
    Arrange by teaspoon on buttered cookie sheets.
    Bake until the edges are brown (about 12 minutes).
    For thicker cookies, increase the oatmeal to 2 cups and the flour to 1 3/4 cups.
