Peppermint Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup butter or margarine
    5 (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate squares
    5 eggs
    2 1/4 cups sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
    1 3/4 cups sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cup chopped pecans
    peppermint frosting
    chocolate square
Preparation
    Combine butter and 5 oz. chocolate in saucepan.
    Melt over low heat.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Combine eggs and sugar, beat on high two minutes.
    Add cooled chocolate mixture, vanilla, and peppermint extract.
    Blend well.
    Sift flour and salt.
    Add dry ingredients to chocolate mixture.
    Mix well.
    Stir in pecans. Pour into jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch.
    Bake in 325 degree oven for 25 minutes or until done.
    Cool.
    Frost with peppermint frosting.
    Melt 1/2 oz. chocolate and drizzle over frosting.
