No-Mix Blackberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh blackberries
    1/2 c. sugar
    6 tsp. butter
    3/4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Stir 1/2 cup sugar into fruit; set aside.
    Melt butter in baking pan.
    Sift the next 4 ingredients together, then add milk.
    Pour batter into pan of melted butter, but do not mix!
    Pour fruit over, but do not mix!
    Bake for 50 minutes.
    Yields 6 servings.
