French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    1 stick butter or margarine
    sliced French bread
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Add sugar and syrup.
    Place sliced French bread in dish.
    Beat eggs, milk and vanilla together; pour over sliced bread, covering bread well.
    Cover with Saran or other wrap; place in refrigerator overnight.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 30 to 45 minutes.
    To serve, lift out of baking dish and turn over so syrup will be on top side.
