Mississippi River Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/4 c. cocoa powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 (9 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
    1/4 c. coconut (if desired)
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl; beat in eggs one at a time.
    Sift cocoa powder, salt and flour, then add to egg mixture.
    Stir in vanilla, coconut and pecans.
    Pour batter into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Take out and spread marshmallow cream over cake.
    Let cool for 1 1/2 hours.
