7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, broken up
    1/2 c. celery
    1/2 c. green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 small box frozen peas, barely cooked and chilled
    1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. Bac*Os or crisp bacon, broken up
Preparation
    Layer first 5 ingredients; spread pint of mayonnaise on top. Seal like a lid; sprinkle on sugar, cheese and Bac*Os.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight or 8 hours.
    This is also good with broccoli.
