Mom Sands' Sausage Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Jimmy Dean mild or sage sausage
    1 loaf white bread, toasted
    1 to 2 onions
    1 can Swanson chicken broth (small can)
    1 can water
    2 to 3 tsp. poultry seasoning
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 stick butter
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Fry sausage; add onion(s) while browning, then bring to boil with chicken broth, water, butter and seasonings.
    Remove from heat and add the toasted white bread (in pieces).
    Stir in 2 eggs. Bake in 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan with hunks of butter on top.
    Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
